Jason Momoa Is Dating Eiza González After Split With Lisa Bonet
It looks like Jason Momoa has a new love in his life.
In January, Momoa, 42, and Lisa Bonet, 54, separated after spending almost 20 years together. Rumors started swirling that Momoa was dating actress Kate Beckinsale last month after fans noticed “flirty vibes” between them, but he denied that they were dating.
Over the weekend, multiple sources told PEOPLE that the “Aquaman” actor is now confirmed to be dating actress Eiza González, 32.
Jason Momoa Romantically Linked To Eiza González
One insider told the publication that “They are dating. He cares about her. He’s in a great place, working on Fast X. He’s quite busy and he’s in a good place.”
Another source close to the new couple told PEOPLE, “They’re both busy with work but are having fun together. It’s nothing serious yet.”
Momoa recently attended the premiere of her new film, “Ambulance” last month; however, they did not walk the red carpet together to keep their fledgling relationship out of the spotlight.
Jason Momoa Confirms That He Is NOT Dating Kate Beckinsale
The “Game of Thrones” actor was rumored to be dating actress Kate Beckinsale after he gave her his jacket at the Vanity Fair’s 2022 Academy Awards afterparty.
In a recent interview with Extra, Momoa described the attention surrounding their rumored relationship as “cray.”
“It was cray. Everyone is like, ‘Are you dating?'” he recalled. “No, no, it was chivalry; the woman was cold.”
“She is very nice, I was being very nice, just being a gentleman,” Momoa continued. “Now, I am not giving my coat to anyone.”
Momoa & Lisa Bonet Parted Ways In January 2022
In January, the “Dune” actor posted a joint statement to his Instagram account to inform the world that they were “parting ways in marriage” after spending nearly 20 years together.
The two tied the knot in November 2007 and have two teenage children together: daughter Lola Iolani, 14, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 13.
“The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived,” they wrote. “We free each other to be who we are learning to become.”
“Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life … teaching our children what’s possible,” they continued. “Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail J & L.”
At the time of their break-up, a source told PEOPLE that they each wanted to go their separate ways to get a chance “to explore other things” after the break-up. The source added that the two still “care deeply about each other,” while saying that “They have been doing things separately for quite a while.”
Earlier this year, Momoa continued to show support for his stepdaughter, Zoë Kravitz, at the premiere of “The Batman,” in which she plays Catwoman opposite Robert Pattinson’s Batman. Momoa is also still friends with her father, Lenny Kravitz, as the two have shared several friendly snaps on Instagram together.
Although fans are looking forward to seeing Jason Momoa in the “Aquaman” sequel scheduled to be released next year, Momoa has also been tapped to star in the “Minecraft” live-action movie.
