Elon Musk has jokes!

The new owner of Twitter must’ve been feeling extra funny this week, because he took a moment to make jokes about President Joe Biden.

The Telsa CEO appeared on “The All-In Podcast” this week to talk about the current inflation crisis ravaging the USA and his thoughts about the Biden administration.

Musk likened the president to Will Ferrell’s fictional character, Ron Burgundy.

He said on the podcast, “The real president is whoever controls the teleprompter. The path to power is the path to the teleprompter.”

Musk believes that Biden will read anything and everything typed onto the teleprompter, which could turn out very bad for the pres.

“I do feel like if somebody were to accidentally lean on the teleprompter, it’s going to be like ‘Anchorman,’” Musk quipped.

In the event you haven’t seen “Anchorman,” it’s comedy GOLD.

Ferrell plays a scotch-drinking news anchorman in San Deigo in the 1970s, who is highly under-qualified for the position.

He has zero capability of collecting the news, but, due to his good looks and finely quaffed hair, the man looks great on camera and in turns brings in viewers.

Unfortunately, his career is sabotaged by Veronica Corningstone when she types expletives about San Diego into the teleprompter, which he in turn reads without batting an eye.

Even the news director, played by the late-Fred Willard, says, “For the last time, anything you put on that prompter Burgundy will read.”

The Teleprompter Is The President

Musk continued to explain how he feels Biden’s administration has done NOTHING to get things done compared to Donald Trump’s administration.

“This administration doesn’t seem to get a lot done,” Musk explained. “The Trump administration, leaving Trump aside, there were a lot of people in the administration who were effective at getting things done.”

The multi-billionaire went so far as to say the USA could turn into Venezuela if the country keeps printing money the way it is.

“I mean, the obvious reason for inflation is that the government printed a zillion amount of more money than it had, obviously,” Musk noted. “If the federal government writes checks, they never bounce. So that is effectively creation of more dollars. And if there are more dollars created, then the increase in the goods and services across the economy, then you have inflation, again, velocity of money held constant.”

Musk noted that if the USA could simply “issue massive amounts of money and deficits didn’t matter, then, well, why don’t we just make the deficit 100 times bigger? The answer is, you can’t because it will basically turn the dollar into something that is worthless.”

According to DailyMail, Venezuela is still battling hyper-inflation and in 2018 it reached astronomical heights of more than a million per cent.

Musk is one of the world’s richest men alive and he recently bid $44 billion to buy Twitter.

However, not long after the purchase was made, Musk said the the deal is on “hold.”

On Friday, May 13, he tweeted, “Twitter deal temporarily on hold pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users.”
