Cover For Vinyl Edition of The King Score Revealed [EXCLUSIVE]

Screen Rant has the honor of exclusively revealed the cover and key details for the long-awaited vinyl edition of The King—Original Motion Score From The Netflix Film. The King first arrived on the streaming platform on October 11, 2019 after premiering at the 76th Venice International Film Festival and receiving praise for Timothée Chalamet’s (Dune) strong performance.

The King revolves around the life of King Henry V (played by Chalamet) from when he is a wayward prince reluctant to take on the throne of England and eager to instead live among the common people of the land. After the death of his tyrannical father, the young king is crowned and must enter the word he once longed to escaped, dealing with the politics of the palace and the ongoing war that marks his father’s legacy.

The magnificent score for The King comes from Emmy Award winning, three-time Oscar nominated composer Nicholas Britell (Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk, Don’t Look Up). Britell has also been responsible for scoring series and films as diverse as The Underground Railroad, Succession, The Big Short, Vice, Cruella, Battle Of The Sexes, Winning Time, and more. With The King, Britell transports audiences to England in the 1400s and the chaos of its leadership.
