Isiah Thomas wants a public apology from Michael Jordan

Some feuds just never die, which is apparently the case for Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan.

The retired NBA superstars have famously not liked each other since the 1980s, and in a recent interview with Eurohoops , the former Detroit Pistons point guard revealed that the hostility isn’t just alive and well, but that he wants a public apology from the G.O.A.T. himself.

“Until I get a public apology, this beef is gonna go on for a long, long time, cause I’m from the west side of Chicago,” Thomas said in the interview.

Thomas explained why the contention is still alive and well, revealing that he is none too happy with how he was portrayed in the Jordan-focused docuseries “The Last Dance.”

“When I was watching ‘The Last Dance,’ I’m [sitting] there and I’m watching it with my family and I’m thinking everything is good,” Thomas said. “And then this guy comes on television and he says that he hates me and then he calls me an a-shole. And then I proceed to watch a whole documentary about him being an a-shole. I’m like wait a minute, timeout.”

Thomas even retweeted the link to the interview for good measure.

While Jordan hasn’t publicly commented on the interview, it seems pretty unlikely that he will be issuing any kind of apology to his longtime rival. If that’s the case, this feud may even outlive both Jordan and Thomas. Stay tuned.
