The “WAP” singer unveiled her new tattoo dedicated to her son on social media. The rapper and her celebrity husband, Offset, welcomed their son in September 2021. The couple gave birth to their first child Kulture in 2018 and have always been loving parents to their two children.

In a show of her motherly affection, the mother-of-two honored her one-year-old son by getting his name tattooed on her face.

The “Tomorrow 2” rapper, taking to her Instagram story, revealed to her fans the masterpiece that had been inked on the bottom of her right cheek. Cardi B posted a close-up selfie as she flaunted her flawless and milky skin for the camera. She tilted her face to the side, revealing only the parts where the newly gotten ink sat pretty.

The “Please Me” singer rocked long purple acrylic nails and had her shiny black hair worn down to fall freely to her back.

Boldly displayed on her face were the words “Wave,” which had been written in red ink on the right side of her face. Simply captioning the photo, she wrote her son’s name.

Cardi’s decision to get her son’s name tattooed on her body wasn’t a spontaneous act. As the talented rapper had earlier planned to carry out the thoughtful gesture.

Per The Blast, the mama bear considered announcing her son’s name to the public in the most unique and never-ending way possible. The outspoken rapper, who is a regular user of the bird app, announced to her fans on Twitter that she was finally contemplating revealing her son’s name with a dramatic facial tattoo.

She wrote, “Random but…. I’m 1% close too tatting my son’s name on my face…. I really really wanna do it!”

Although fans had been patiently anticipating that the Grammy winner and her husband Offset would let them in on the name of their son, they were not too excited knowing how the “Hot Shit’ rapper intended to announce the name.

A couple of them were quick to shut down the idea while explaining their reason why they believed the rapper should not go down that path. In their opinion, Cardi B’s beauty might be marred by the facial artwork.

Others advised the “I Like It” rapper to get the tattoo elsewhere on her body, but not her precious face. However, a fraction of her fans suggested that the hip-hop Queen have her husband debut the ink, seeing as the Migos member was accustomed to having facial tattoos.

Despite just getting her first face inking, the “Hustlers” star, however, is not a stranger to tattoos. The entertainer’s most captivating artwork is framed on the right part of her body in the form of a giant peacock. The gigantic tattoo beautifully covers her right hip, her thigh and extends to her back.

Other distinctive tats decorating her perfectly sculptured body includes the names of her husband and sister, a cheetah, and the phrase “loyalty over royalty.” In addition to these are tattoos that represented people from her past.

The 30-year-old, who is head over heels for her two children, recently had a proud mom moment! Last month, the “Press” songstress posted a cute video of Wave reciting his numbers on her Instagram Stories.

In the short clip, the handsome toddler, dressed in a cute onesie, was seen giggling excitedly as his doting mother tickled him.

The one-year-old proceeded to start counting numbers on his fingers. Although Cardi B’s face couldn’t be seen in the video, she echoed along with her son as he recited his numbers.

Wave impressed his mum with his recitation, even though his pronunciation was a bit incoherent, as he successfully counted up to the number 3. An ecstatic Cardi B proudly captioned the post, writing, “Him so smart. My Papi Chulo”.
