We’re all used to having to fit our liquid items into tiny travel bottles before heading to the airport.

Then when you reach security you have to scramble around to get your liquids bag out of your case for the x-ray.

If you’re travelling with kids this becomes even more frustrating as you corral the little ones and stuff lotions and potions into the tiny bags.

However, the hassle may be coming to an end as UK airports plan to scrap the rule.

While currently Brits must carry liquids in bottles no larger than 100ml and totalling no more than one litre this rule is set to be axed by 2024, reports The Times.

Major airports across the nation have been told they must install advanced CT security scanners which will mean the liquids rule is no longer needed.
