‘I was born with both a vagina and testicles – sex used to hurt but now it feels good’
An Aussie intersex advocate has detailed how their sex life used to be a painful experience after they were born with both testicles and a vagina.
Blume, from Melbourne, who grew up thinking they were biologically a female, found out they were intersex from doctors at age 16, meaning they were born with a combination of male and female biological traits.
Speaking on the I've Got News For You Podcast for News Au, Blume explained how they had been born with testicles inside their body where they thought they should have had a uterus.

Now, the advocate raises awareness for the rare condition and has detailed how they had to go through a process called "dilation" to make sex less painful after opting to not change their genitalia.
