I’m Rounding Up Every Song I Hope We Get During Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour — What Are Your Thoughts?

If you lived through the Great War that was attempting to purchase Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour presale tickets through Ticketmaster, we share a special bond. Millions navigated the labyrinth that was the queue, hoping they had good enough karma to not run into a technical glitch while snagging seats to the artist’s anticipated upcoming concert.

Now, Swifties have just one question. … Which songs will be on that setlist? Since it seems that Swift will be featuring songs from each of her musical eras, she has 10 albums to work with, including the four that have not yet received their own tour (Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights).

As we bide our time awaiting The Eras Tour, here is my personal dream setlist (in dream order) of songs I hope to hear Swift perform live. Share the songs you want to hear in the comments below!

Please don’t come for me in my sleep because I didn’t include “Dear John.”

1. “Lavender Haze”

NBC / Via giphy.com

In my humble opinion, there would be no better song to open the show than the opening track of Taylor’s Midnights album. Those first few beats are a total jam, and that first utterance of “meet me at midnight” will send all the Swifties screaming.

2. “Anti-Hero”

Taylor Swift / Republic Records / Via giphy.com

As one of the most notable (and most relatable) tracks from Midnights, this one is almost certain to be included on the setlist. Get us amped right away, Tay. We’re the problem, it’s us.

3. “Maroon”

NBC / Via giphy.com

There will be something healing about yelling this entire Midnights song word for word at top volume.

4. “Style”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

Now that we’ve heard a few hits from her new record, we’re going back in time to 1989. Taylor never goes out of style (hence this entire tour), so this would be a fitting and fabulous throwback.

5. “Cruel Summer”

Taylor Swift / Netflix / Via giphy.com

Since spirits are high from “Style,” we launch into the Lovers era, where this banger awaits.

6. “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”

Taylor Swift / Republic Records / Via giphy.com

Our voices are getting hoarse now, but we’re all going to scream this Red track at the top of our lungs, thank you very much!

7. “Tim McGraw”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

For the safety and wellbeing of all, we need something slower paced. This would be a great time for Taylor to take us back to the beginning with this iconic tune from her very first album in 2006.

8. “Our Song”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via tenor.com

Perhaps we can be blessed with this one from her first album, too. You still remember the lyrics.

9. “Love Story”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

Now, we’re moving into Fearless territory, which means we’ll obviously need to hear the song that wore out our iPod Shuffle.

10. “You Belong with Me”

Taylor Swift / Republic Records / Via giphy.com

2008 you is living!

11. “Mean”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

We mustn’t forget about Speak Now, released in 2010. Hearing this empowering track would be the perfect choice from this album.

12. “Enchanted”

Taylor Swift / Via giphy.com

Another Speak Now essential.

13. “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve”

NBC / Via giphy.com

We’ve revisited the songs of Taylor Swift’s girlhood, so we get this Midnights feature. God rest our souls.

14. “Shake It Off”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

It’s all good! We shake off all those bad memories with this 1989 hit.

15. “Vigilante Shit”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

Despite shaking it off, we still want revenge, so we’re getting this fan-favorite from Midnights

16. “…Ready For It?”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

“Vigilante Shit” is giving Reputation vibes, so the song flows right into “…Ready For It?” and we are not ready for it.

17. “Look What You Made Me Do”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

Even though the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now, she’s very much alive. We get this epic Reputation number.

18. “Delicate”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

And this Reputation one, too.

19. “Willow”

Taylor Swift / Republic Records / Via giphy.com

Jumping forward to a different point in her career, it would be amazing to hear Taylor perform the first track from Evermore, “Willow.” Try not to dance to this one.

20. “Cardigan”

Taylor Swift / Republic Records / Via giphy.com

This era of Taylor carried Swifties through the pandemic. Folklore’s most notable single poetically shares the pain of heartbreak.

21. “Wildest Dreams”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

Imagine “Cardigan” segueing into “Wildest Dreams” from 1989, though…

22. “Midnight Rain”

Taylor Swift / Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions / Via giphy.com

…before transitioning into this Midnights track that describes an old relationship not meant to be.

23. “The Man”

Taylor Swift / Republic Records / Via giphy.com

A necessary jam from Lover.

24. “Red”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

The moment this Red track begins, you know what’s coming right after it…

25. “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)”

Taylor Swift / Republic Records / Via tenor.com

Brace yourself. You better not be in line for the bathroom. May the concert gods grant us a performance of the full 10-minute version.

26. “Karma”

Taylor Swift / Big Machine Records / Via giphy.com

After remembering things all too well, the entire venue dances to “Karma” from Midnights. So fun.

27. “I Forgot That You Existed”

Taylor Swift / Republic Records / Via giphy.com

There is just no better follow-up to “Karma” than this Lover track.

28. “Tolerate It”

Taylor Swift / Republic Records / Via giphy.com

Enter Evermore. This hauntingly beautiful ballad would be amazing to see live.

29. “Happiness”

Taylor Swift / Republic Records / Via giphy.com

“Tolerate It” could perhaps be woven in with this song from the same album, describing happiness and healing after heartbreak. This would round out the slower-paced tunes for the night and lead into…

30. “Bejeweled”

Taylor Swift / Republic Records / Via giphy.com

This one from Midnights! Make the whole place shimmer!

31. “Message in a Bottle”

MTV / Republic Records / Via giphy.com

This could be a great tune to top off the night, as it’s a vault track, and it’s the perfect upbeat finale!
