Watch: Has Buccaneers QB Tom Brady adopted a new catchphrase?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady somewhat admitted to dealing with behind-the-scenes distractions this season.

As noted by Justin Terranova of the New York Post, Brady was asked for the latest edition of the Buccaneers’ “Armchair QB” YouTube series if he has any suggestions for people who look at their phones while in bed late at night and who experience problems sleeping because of the bad habit.

“I have no advice because I have the same problem,” the seven-time Super Bowl champion responded. “I’m too damn busy. I’ve got too much s— going on. We’re trying to, ya know, get everything done during the day, but you don’t get it done during the day. So, you know what, we all got to learn to deal with that. I wouldn’t tell my children that. I would tell them to put the iPads away and all that. But as a parent, do as I say and not as I do.”

It appears Brady has landed on a go-to answer regarding his personal life. After he returned from an 11-day break away from the Buccaneers in August for unspecified “personal reasons” and participated in the preseason finale against the Indianapolis Colts, he told reporters his absence was due to “different situations” and “really unique challenges” that everyone faces.

“I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s— going on,” Brady added at that time.

Last month, Brady used an “Armchair QB” segment to offer “relationship advice” to a fan. He and Gisele Bündchen later confirmed their divorce after 13 years of marriage on Oct. 28 following months of speculation and rumors about their relationship.

Brady and the 4-5 Buccaneers have lost five of their last seven games but nevertheless head into Sunday’s matchup against the 6-3 Seattle Seahawks in Munich, Germany, sitting in first place in the NFC South standings. Brady and offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich both recently criticized the team’s game-day efforts throughout the campaign, and the Buccaneers’ response to such comments this Sunday before their bye could say plenty about their playoff hopes.
