Ex-Senegal star Papiss Cisse was dating a former Miss Newcastle during his time in the Premier League with Newcastle United – but told her he was going on holiday before marrying someone else.
Model Rachelle Graham was left dumbfounded after seeing snaps of the striker at his wedding to volleyball player Diallo Awo in Paris after he told her he was heading abroad.
Rachelle spoke to the media after seeing her flame tie the knot in a lavish reception thanks to social media snaps, with Cisse insisting he had no other girlfriend at the time.

Miss Graham told The Sun at the time: "I'm hurt and disgusted to learn Papiss has got married without me knowing after we spent so much time together recently.
"But it's his life and if this is what he has chosen to do there is nothing much I can do about it. I just wish he had the decency to tell me first."
A friend of the striker said: "Rachelle is not his girlfriend and they have not been in a proper relationship for a long time."
It later emerged that more than one woman believed themselves to be in a relationship with the striker at the time, including dance studio boss Natalie Gibson.
Natalie said that she and Cisse had been making long-term plans, having not known who he was before their met because she hadn't followed football.
She said: "I had no idea he was going to get married in France – and certainly knew nothing about any other girl."
Cisse posted a snap of wife Diallo back in May of 2020, alongside the caption: "Happy mother's day to my beautiful wife and my beautiful mum."
Cisse made 36 appearances for his country between 2009 and 2015, scoring 17 goals – and is still an active player at club level.
Having left Newcastle in 2016, the 37-year-old has played for Shandong Luneng, Alanyaspor, Fenerbahce and Caykur Rizespor before joining Amiens this year.
