Sesame Street actor Bob McGrath has died at 90 on Sunday (December 4) as tributes pour in for the legendary actor.
The actor’s family confirmed the devastating news on Facebook, where they shared: “Hello, Facebook friends. Our father, Bob McGrath, passed away today. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family.”
Bob was one of the original and longest-standing human stars of Sesame Street, where he appeared on the show from 1969-2017.

The legendary actor starred in 460 episodes throughout 47 seasons and also served as an educator and musician.
