Fans In Disbelief As Trolls Take To Twitter To MOCK The Late Kirstie Alley

Barely a couple of days have gone by since the passing of Kirstie Alley and the trolls have started to rear their heads, especially on Twitter. People who disagree with her views on politics, vaccination, LGBTQ+, and more have taken to Twitter to air their thoughts, and it’s not pretty.

While there are plenty of fans who have posted RIP messages for Alley, remembering her for her roles or her in-your-face comic timing, not everyone is as kind. And it has left a lot on social media flabbergasted…

Kirstie Alley Mourned For Being A ‘True Patriot’?

MEGA

It’s no secret that Alley was a firm supporter of the Trump doctrine, but her life and especially her passing has got nothing to do with that.

Now there are plenty of fans of Alley, who are mourning her passing but also taking the chance to talk about how she was a true patriot because she supported a certain regime over others. For instance, one Twitter user wrote: “Kirstie Alley loved America and loved Trump. She rejected Wokeness and was one of the few actors in Hollywood brave enough to speak out during COVID. Rest in Peace Kirstie Alley.”

There were plenty of aghast Twitter users wanting to shut him up with replies like:

“Way to use a family’s tragedy to push your own agenda. You’re disgusting.”

“So you wittle down a person’s life to their political beliefs? That really disgusting. I was not a fan, but she deserves to be remembered for more than just politics.”

But there were more political mourners, of course with Tweets like:

Hollywood lost one of their brightest shining stars today with the tragic passing of Kirstie Alley.

Kirstie loved her country and President Trump, and she will always be remembered for her award winning role in Cheers.

Rest in Peace. America will never be the same.

And then there were Tweets on the polar end!

I’m so glad Kirstie Alley got to watch Trump lose before she died

More Had An Issue With Kirstie Alley Being An Anti-Vaxxer & A Scientologist

Instagram | Kirstie Alley

Her political beliefs apart, it’s clear that Kirstie Alley’s anti-vaccination approach did not go down too well with many, and her being a member of the Church of Scientology also alienated her from her fans.

Now, with her gone, Twitter still seems to have a lot of hate to go around:

Scientology promises that if you reach the upper levels you won’t get cancer. Kirstie Alley was a OT8 but died from cancer today. This is a reminder that SCIENTOLOGY IS NOTHING BUT A CULT.
Also please donate to cancer research. ✨️

One Twitter user replied to this comment, feeling ashamed at all the vitriol towards Alley, writing, “I will never understand why people choose to divert attention away from the main point. Seems it is an opportunity to express a view at the expense of the tragedy of another. Scientology didn’t end her life. Cancer did.”

The hate, however, was just starting, it seems as one had an issue with her being anti-vaccination.

Maybe I’m a cynical, asshole, but anti-vaxxers like Kirstie Alley hurt/killed a lot of people. Sorry if I don’t care that she passed. A few funny moments on the television show , Cheers, 35 to 40 years ago doesn’t outweigh the damage she did.

There were others who wanted people to stop with the hate and just move on:

Cancer doesn’t care what your political ideology, or lack thereof, is. Cancer is a cruel disease. No one deserves it.

I hope wherever Kirstie Alley is, she is at peace. Choose your words wisely and remember that she has people who love her.

I’ll leave it at that.

Yet more said a lot, without really saying anything!

Kirstie Alley, has died from cancer. I have nothing else to add.

This is one of those times I’ll utilize the “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything” sayings.

For Others, Things Were A Lot More Personal

One Twitter user wrote, clearly disturbed by a past social media conversation, “Before Kirstie Alley blocked me, she said I was going to gay hell….. I guess she arrived at the destination before I did.”

Thankfully, some of the Tweets made a lot more sense than others:

I’m sorry to hear about Kirstie Alley’s passing. she was an incredible talent whose politics I wildly disagreed with — but despite that, I have to think someone with her sense of humor would still appreciate being the star of one of my favorite twitter stories. pic.twitter.com/LNIdUopUae
