England's WAGs are said to have lent their support to Raheem Sterling's fiancee Paige Milian following the raid on their home.

Paige, 27, discovered £300,000 worth of items, including jewellery and watches, had been burgled when she returned to the Surrey mansion on Saturday (December 3), having left Qatar after the World Cup group games.

Sterling followed suit and joined her back in the UK with his daughter Melody Rose, 10, and their children Thiago, five, and Thai Cruz, three, missing the round-of-16 victory against Senegal. But he's now returned to the Three Lions ahead of this weekend's quarter-final with France.

And the partners of the rest of the squad want Paige to link-up with them again too, according to The Mirror.

An insider said: "The WAGs have sent messages of support and encouraged her and kids to join back up with them. They hope that it might help to take her mind off the break in.

"They were all chatting and video calling before this happened as kids had all made friends while they were in Qatar together. They feel for her and want to try and help."

The incident has also left them shaken with fears that it could happen to any of them next. Two men were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary in an incident in the same village as Sterling's home yesterday.

Surrey Police were initially investigating if there was a connection between the two. But they later confirmed the arrests were "not being linked to an ongoing investigation into a burglary which received significant media coverage over the weekend".

They added: "That separate investigation remains ongoing and as of 12pm on December 7 no arrests have been made."
