The 39-year-old showcased on her Instagram page three pictures featuring the couple in the first one looking happy. They held up their ring fingers to flaunt their shiny wedding bands with the “Antebellum” actress rocking a white shirt and a pearl clip on her full curly hair while her beau peeked from behind her in a black shirt.

The following slide featured their cat on the round dining table, which had an array of lovely flowers on it as well as some bowls on the shelf in the background. The simple update was brought to a close with the lovebirds dressed casually in the last slide as they took a selfie with masks on their faces.

“These are our official wedding photos! The Wedding at the kitchen counter featuring our rings by @happyjewelers,” she began the caption, adding that an exciting reception followed the ceremony.

The “American Horror Story” star noted that the celebration also included their cat Aaron sniffing the flowers that were sent to them and ended with “a very romantic sunset dinner” with their masks on because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

She then wrote, “We really want to have a wedding someday, but I just couldn’t wait to marry this amazing man.” Due to their preferred way of living away from the public eye, not much is known about the man behind her happiness.

Interestingly, the duo reportedly met online through a dating app and got engaged in November 2020. Sidibe first revealed on a recent episode of “Live with Kelly and Ryan” that they had tied the knot over a year ago. When asked by Ryan Seacrest if she is planning a big wedding, she paused for a bit and said:

“Thing about weddings is I don’t like them I don’t like them I really, here’s an example of how much I don’t like weddings I’m actually married we got married over a year ago.”

As the audience applauded joyfully, Seacrest was stunned by the revelation and buried his head in his hands in disbelief while Kelly Rippa asked enthusiastically, “wait is this breaking news?” Sidibe gave a quick gaze at her husband who was in the audience and said, “Yeah yeah, got married, we got married at the kitchen table.”

It will interest fans to know that the man in question had been working in the entertainment industry for more than ten years and had jobs in marketing, branding, and consulting. He has also worked at top agencies like Paradigm Talent Agency, Cameo, Atlantic Records, and CAA Music.

The entrepreneur, who currently has the role of the chief business officer at the virtual concert production company “NoCap Shows,” had also been married before meeting the “Apocalypse” guest actress. He is an animal lover, as the couple owns two cats, Aaron and Derrell Jermaine Dupree, who were involved in his proposal to Sidibe.

In August, The Blast shared that the 63-year-old made a major identity faux pas during the game section of the show “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.” The game “Will Kathy Know Them?” involved showing the “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” star pictures of celebrities and asking her to identify them.

When shown the picture of the “Rumors” singer, she thought about it for a moment before answering, “Precious?” causing the host and her co-star Crystal Kung Minkoff to burst into laughter.

While the guests might have found it funny, she received some backlash from social media users who accused her of being disrespectful, racist, and fatphobic. Some wrote comments like, “Not here for Kathy’s problematic behavior anymore. Ready for her to be off Bravo,” “This isn’t funny. The Kathy Quirk is waning,” amongst others.

The socialite explained that her mistake was not on purpose but because the screen was too far away and her eyesight was terrible, adding, “If you recall, I couldn’t even make out who Justin Timberlake or Melissa Etheridge was.”

After her response, fans gave the star the benefit of the doubt and defended her, writing, “Kathy is not racist. Knock it off already,” “In fairness – we know her eyesight is bad. She puts ear drops in her eyes. ??‍♀️,” etc.
