Meet the Dutch WAGs – from MTV EMAs street-dancer to former hockey rising star
The Netherlands have undoubtedly been one of the surprise packages of the World Cup.
Louis van Gaal has rolled back the years with the Oranje in Qatar by making them a force once again. Though the side are far more defensive than the iconic, fluid sides of the 1970s and early 1990s, they have reaped the rewards of a cautious approach through some devastating counter-attacking play.
That has earned them a spot in the quarter-finals, where they will come up against Lionel Messi and his Argentina side.

Only 1,400 Dutch fans are expected to be in attendance at the Lusail Stadium in comparison to tens of thousands of Argentines, but the players will take joy in having their glamorous WAGs cheering them on in the stands.

Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong is nearly always the silkiest player on the pitch – and he must have a certain degree of sauce off it too. His long-term girlfriend is 24-year-old Mikky Kiemeney, a social media influencer with 1.5million followers on Instagram.
Mikky runs her own clothing brand – MIKKY KI – that offers a range of streetwear. It appears Kiemeney could have been a sports star herself too, having previously played hockey for HC Den Bosch’s women’s team and made her debut aged just 17.
The couple met while De Jong was creating a name for himself at Ajax and currently live together in Catalonia.
AnneKee Molenaar
De Jong’s former Ajax teammate Matthijs de Ligt, 23, has not done too badly for himself either. The ex-FIFA Golden Boy’s current girlfriend is blonde beauty AnnaKee Molenaar, a model with almost 500,00 followers on Instagram.
She has been dating the Bayern Munich centre-back since 2018. AnnaKee regularly takes to Insta to post pictures of the pair cosying up and snogging, along with sizzling snaps of her outrageous figure.
Candy Rae-Fleur
Candy Rae-Fleur, 34, is married to former Manchester United veteran Daley Blind. The couple met in 2013 before Blind’s move to Old Trafford, and have two children together – a son and a daughter.
Candy is a professional dancer specialising in jazz, street and modern dance. She has performed in MTV EMA and Vogue fashion shows.
Chana Kesselaar
Sven Botman’s star has risen exponentially since his move to Newcastle from Lille in the summer. And it can't hurt the towering centre-back's confidence knowing he is cheered on by the outrageously gorgeous Chana Kesselaar on match-days.
The fashion stylist has around 5,000 followers on Instagram, where she shares her sketches to her followers and has a website link advertising her services. Chana loves to post glam bikini snaps of her holidays as well as city trips to London.

Manchester City defender Nathan Ake finally married his long-term partner Kaylee in Majorca last summer. The couple are now expecting their first child together.
Kaylee, 28, runs her own bikini company by the name of JUA June, which specialises in making swimwear from sustainable materials derived from ocean plastic, fishing nets and nylon landfill waste.

Netherlands skipper Virgil van Dijk met his wife Rike way back in 2013. The pair moved to Glasgow together after he signed for Celtic and she has watched him grow into the world’s most dominant centre-back.
Rike and Big Virg have two daughters, Nila and Jadi, and keep their personal life very private. Meanwhile, Van Dijk will be eyeing Friday's fixture as an opportunity to get one step closer an elusive international trophy, having already bagged Champions League and Premier League winners' medals in recent years.
