On Monday, Ryan returned to defend his one-day total of $18,800 dollars against Divya, a software developer, and Nick, a photographer.

The first round featured the categories: FACE THE MUSIC // A HORSE WITH A NAME // HOW INVENTIVE! // THAT’S OUR ISLAND (name the country to which it belongs) // IT’S GETTING WINDY // FTW…(that feeling when…)

After the first round, Ryan had $8,600, Nick had $4,000, and Divya had $400.

The Double Jeopardy! round featured the categories: SWEDISH HISTORY // THAT BOOK PLAGUES ME // SKELETON CREW // CLOSE TO THE VEST (close to “vest” in the dictionary) // LET’S GAMBLE // I’VE GOT A BIG BANK ROLE

Going into the Final Jeopardy! round, Ryan had $16,200, Nick had $14,600, and Divya had $4,000.

The Final Jeopardy! category was “THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE.” The clue read: “The USA’s smallest national park is a 91-acre site on the Mississippi River, home to this 630-foot landmark.”

Both Ryan and Nick provided a correct answer of “What is the St. Louis (Gateway) Arch?” Ryan added $8,000 dollars to his score to win $24,200 dollars for a two-day total of $43,000 dollars.

Tuesday, May 17 – Ryan Returns

On Tuesday, Ryan returned to defend his two-day total of $43,000 dollars against Justinne, a museum educator, and Jason, the head of risk operations.

At the end of the first round, Ryan had $9,200, Jason had $6,400, and Justinne had $1,200.

On Wednesday, Ryan returned to defend his three-day total of $70,000 dollars against Audrey, a pediatric hospitalist, and Adrianna, a writer.

On Thursday, Ryan returned to defend his four-day total of $86,600 dollars against Julie Ann, a diversity and inclusion strategist, and Bradford, a journalist and author.

After the first round, Ryan had $10,600, Bradford had $2,600, and Julie Ann had $200.

Only Ryan provided a correct answer of “What are the Hanging Gardens (of Babylon)?” He added $3,001 dollars to win $19,201 dollars for a five-day total of $105,801 dollars. Ryan will now officially appear in the Tournament of Champions later this year.

On Friday, Ryan returned to defend his five-day total of $105,801 dollars against Toni, a postdoc, and Li-Mae, a law student.

The first round featured the categories:

Only Ryan provided a correct answer of “What is Lake Baikal?” Ryan added  $5,000 to win $26,000 for a six-day total of $131,801 dollars.
