R. Kelly REFUSES To Admit He Dropped, ‘I Admit It’

R. Kelly has finally spoken up, from prison, after the music industry and social media erupted in outrage over his supposed new album, “I Admit It”, taken as a form of admission of his guilt over a multitude of sexual offenses.

Now, R. Kelly says he does not admit it, as in, the release of the music was unauthorized, given that the lyrics are very incendiary!

R. Kelly Says, “It Wasn’t Me”

With due apologies to Shaggy, R. Kelly is now singing a different tune from prison, saying, “It Wasn’t Me.”

In an audio obtained by TMZ, R. Kelly is heard saying that it’s not his voice as he emphasizes, “I hope people recognized my voice and know that”, and he even sings a few bars to prove he’s right. He began the audio by saying “somebody gone done faked” the music, and that he did not put out any new album and was not interested in putting out any new albums.

Given that the album has lyrics like: “I admit I f–ked with all the ladies. That’s both older and young ladies. But tell me how they call it pedophile because of that s–t that’s crazy. You may have your opinions, entitled to your opinions, but am I really supposed to go to jail or lose my career because of your opinions?”

Dunni about opinions, but there is something called the law, right?

R. Kelly Is Appealing His Federal Conviction

In the prison audio that TMZ says they got from Kelly’s attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, which he recorded Friday, the imprisoned singer denies putting out new music given that he’s trying to appeal his latest federal conviction.

It’s a full-length 13-track album that later went online on Apple Music and Spotify later removed because of the intense backlash.

And you only have to hear the lyrics to know why everyone is mad at Kelly, and the music platforms, as he croons, “They’re brainwashed, really? Kidnapped, really? Can’t eat, really? Real talk, that s*** sound silly.”

The 55-year-old also sing-complains about his life behind bars, in the track, singing, “I got a life. I got a right. Cancel my shows? That ain’t right.”

And then, he raps about his support system, “I admit I just feel like retiring. I admit I don’t feel like trying. But all my real n****rs around me keep telling me: Kelz, f*** that you gotta keep climbing.”

The jury is still out on that, but people are hopping mad at Kelly!

Some Still Want To Hear The Music

That said, not everybody was a hater and some admitted on Twitter, “R Kelly’s new album, he’s the goat when it comes to music. That’s it, that’s the post.”

Another Tweeted:

Made for some good fxckin’ soundtrack. EVERYBODY knew in the 90s that R. Kelly should not be trusted around your teenager daughter and STILL.. just like wasn’t nobody(read:nobody black, that is) sending they kid to Neverland Ranch. https://t.co/EXJ6JjHwhh
