Sharon Osbourne Tests Positive For COVID, Pictured In Bed With IV

Sharon Osbourne caught a strain of the coronavirus for the second time in a row, despite being vaccinated against the disease.

The TV Personality has contracted the condition at the same time as her daughter and former “Fashion Police” star Kelly.

The wife of the renowned heavy metal singer-songwriter Ozzy Osbourne took to her social media with a candid update about her health status.

On Wednesday, May 4, Sharon broke the news that she tested positive for coronavirus in a touching upload to her personal Instagram page.

The host of her new UK show “The Talk” posted an image of her in bed and looking under the weather. One of her arms was connected to an IV.

Despite her state, Sharon remains positive. She braved a smile and held up a peace sign with her free hand. Three of her adorable pets also provided her comfort.

The animals lay on the bed, surrounding the spouse to the “Blizzard of Ozz” singer. She captioned her post “covid” in-between emojis of an angry-red face with a black bar and white grawlixes covering its mouth.

In an Instagram clip from “The Talk,” Sharon revealed that her daughter Kelly has also contracted the coronavirus. She follows her husband, Ozzy, who tested positive last week.

The “Charm School” actress noted that the status of the “No More Tears” artist had improved a lot since his first diagnosis. She continued:

“His temperature’s now back to normal … He’s doing much better. My daughter Kelly now has it, and I have it. And the entire household has it now.”

Sharon seems to be doing better herself. When asked if her husband would help her recover, she replied, “Maybe. We’ll see. I feel OK, actually. I’m OK.”

Fans of the Osbournes may be unsurprised that Sharon tested positive as she had to leave her new show in its first week to nurse her partner, who first contracted the disease.

On Wednesday, May 4, The Blast disclosed that the matriarch of the Osbourne household had to take a break from “The Talk,” which airs weeknights on TalkTV.

Sharon reportedly told the channel she would be flying back to Los Angeles urgently as Ozzy was diagnosed in the middle of the night. She said:

“I am very worried about Ozzy right now. We’ve gone two years without him catching COVID, and it’s just Ozzy’s luck that he would get it now.”

73-year-old Ozzy has struggled with other health issues. He reportedly battled a severe infection and pneumonia. He also received a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease in 2019.

Sharon’s love for her husband of almost four decades was greater than her commitment to her show. Nevertheless, she noted she would miss being away, saying:

“I can’t believe my luck. I’m missing the show, and I’ve only been there three days. I can’t believe it. Three days and I’m missing the show, but I will be back. I know I will.”

The “Sharon Osbourne Show” alum explained that she would be taking a week off to get her partner back on his feet and believed she would get a negative test result by then.

Sharon opened up about Ozzy’s Parkinson’s diagnosis in February 2019 while appearing on “Good Morning America”. She explained:

“It’s PRKN 2. There are so many different types of Parkinson’s; it’s not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination, but it does affect certain nerves in your body.”

The former “X Factor” judge said that her husband experiences days that can range from good to really bad while battling his condition.

Ozzy, who also appeared on the show, explained how he feels to be a Parkinson’s disease warrior. He said:

“I got a numbness down this arm for the surgery. My legs keep going cold. I don’t know if that’s the Parkinson’s or what, you know.”

The multi-award-winning “Ordinary Man” artist told his fans that he and his wife would be seeking medical treatment for his condition outside the country.

Ozzy assured his supporters that he was “far from” dying and could not wait to create some new music for them to enjoy.
