MLB Star Carlos Correa Spotted At Vegas Hotspot Hours Before Signing $350 Million Contract

MLB star Carlos Correa was spotted at one of the hottest spots in Las Vegas, just before becoming the highest-paid shortstop in Major League Baseball.

A host of baseball greats were in town for UFC 282 including World Series Champs Alex Bregman, Lance McCullers Jr, Kyle Tucker, Michael Brantley, and rookie, David Hensley. The crew was all in attendance at the T-Mobile Arena Saturday night, sitting cage side, and Correa could be seen in the front row with Bregman and McCullers Jr.

Also spotted cage side was 2020 American League Rookie of the Year, Kyle Lewis, who was recently traded from the Mariners to the Diamondbacks. He was seated among other MLB players such as Joe Musgrove and Adam Frazier.

After UFC, the town was buzzing with Astros partying in nightclubs and still celebrating their World Series Win. After the fight, a former Astro had different plans in mind with friends. As UFC 282 finished, Carlos Correa and Lance McCullers Jr. were whisked away from backstage and seen getting into a Circa Resort & Casino branded stretch limo with friends. One of those friends was Mick Maynard, UFC matchmaker, and VP of talent relations.

We found out later Carlos was escorted through Circa, past eager sports fans who were excited to see MLB’s top shortstop during their travels. Carlos enjoyed a late-night snack in a private room inside Circa’s cutting-edge, Pan-Asian restaurant, 8 East.  8East’s manager, Mark Hornsby, is an avowed baseball fan himself and made sure everything was in order for the famous shortstop.

The Blast

After dinner, Carlos and his crew toured Circa with casino executive/friend Richard Wilk, as seen on Richard’s Instagram. Crowds went crazy in the sports-oriented hotel & casino as they witnessed the superstar player roaming around. After a tour of the world’s largest sportsbook, and Vegas’ outdoor pool amphitheater (Stadium Swim), he was then escorted up to Circa’s rooftop lounge, Legacy Club, where he relished the best views of Las Vegas. He enjoyed the firepit on Legacy Club’s outdoor patio and was captured donning a huge smile.

Do you think he knew he was a couple of days away from signing with the San Francisco Giants for a 13-year, $350 million contract?  This contract made him the highest-paid MLB shortstop ever, and the fourth-highest-paid player in MLB history. Anyone that knows the newest San Francisco Giant will tell you that all the rumors are true, on top of being talented, he truly is a nice guy with a welcoming personality. He’s known to stop for photos with everyone who asks, and that night the entire restaurant staff loved his company as well.

The Blast

Circa’s Richard Wilk had some words of his own about Carlos, saying, “Carlos is not only awesome with people in general, but he cares about kids and has a special place in his heart for kids who are trying to make it in baseball. He’s given so much advice to my 15-year-old son, Chase Wilk, who trains hard to compete in the baseball world as a freshman at Bishop Gorman High School.”

After seeing Carlos’ talent on the field, and learning about all the positive things Carlos does off the field, it’s fair to say this man is well deserving of his new contract and future with the San Francisco Giants.
