Driving rules and laws are constantly shifting in a bid to make the roads safer for everyone.

As the Government bring in new rules and changes, drivers need to be in the know to avoid being caught out

Next year will bring about 8 major rule changes but they don’t all apply to the whole of the UK.

The new changes range from a parking on the pavement ban in Scotland as well as fuel duty adjustments, an expansion of London’s ULEZ zone and benefits for electric car owners.

Some of the fees dropped during the pandemic are set to be reintroduced, meaning some motorists could soon be left out of pocket.
