Florence Pugh: ‘Doesn’t Mean We’re Doing The Sexy’ Amid Will Poulter Romance Rumors
Florence Pugh has no time for rumors, darling!
The “Don’t Worry Darling” actress recently spent time on a tropical getaway in Ibiza with close friends.
Of course, given that the beach calls for next to nothing clothing, and she’s a famous actress with famous friends, the rumor mill is churning out brand new romance rumors.
Romance Rumors About Florence & Will Are Spreading Like Wildfire
The actress along with several close friends, including actor Will Poulter, were photographed by paps in Ibiza. The photos showcased Florence and Will in the water together seemingly having a one-on-one chat.
The pictures of the two of them went viral, and this sent the internet into a frenzy.
Florence got wind of the rumors circulating and decided to take matters into her own two hands and addressed them on Instagram.
On Tuesday, May 24, she wrote on her IG Story, “Oooookay. Man. This is getting a little silly now. No, Will Poulter and I are not dating. We went to t he beach with our friends, who are always about half a metre away from us in ever picture, but have been cleverly cut out/ framed out so that it looks otherwise. You can LITERALLY see my best friend in the corner of so many shots and Archie’s arms at the sides.”
Florence Explains They May Be Sexy, But They Aren’t Making Sexy
Pugh explained she gets that’s the nature of the Hollywood beast, but doesn’t appreciate the fabricated story.
“I understand that the nature of this job is that you sometimes get your privacy completely bulldozed by paparazzi, but to fabricate this stuff actually does more damage than good. Thanks for saying we look sexy… doesn’t mean we’re doing the sexy.”
The actress then provided MULTIPLE receipts of the photos in question.
She shared the expanded version of the incriminating photo featuring her and will.
The Proof Is In The Pap Pics!
As you can see there is another person in the picture who was “cleverly” framed out.
She wrote, “Best mate who came on the holiday with me. Other best mate Will P, who was cropped to look like his face was on my chest.”
Pugh posted yet another photo of her and will along with her friend, who was cropped out of yet another photo.
She explained the girl continuously getting cropped out of every photo was her best mate Olive.
Pugh joked, “Probably can see the pap in the distance .. hiding behind some poor family, waiting for the optimum time to ‘let’s make a fake relationship’ happen. Grosssss.”
The actress shared multiple other photos to back up her claims that there is absolutely nothing romantic going on between her and Will.
In conclusion, Pugh wrote, “On another note, a very important note. There’s no need to drag people through this. Regardless of your opinion on who I should or shouldn’t be with, at the end of the day if you’re complementing someone by trolling another person.. you’re just bullying. There’s literally no need to be horrible online – no need. Think about what you write. Think about who it affects.”
Florence Asks People To Stop Trolling & Bullying
This note could be in regard to some outlets claiming she and Zach Braff broke up.
Pugh and the “Scrubs” actor went IG official with their relationship in 2019.
However, many fans took issue with the massive age gap between the couple.
Braff is 47-years-old while Pugh is 26-years-old.
Despite the hate and backlash, the “Little Women” actress stood firm in her defense of their relationship.
“I have the right to hang out and be with and go out with anyone I want to,” she explained in her June 2020 Elle UK cover story. “I’ve always found this part of what people do really bizarre. I’m an actor because I like acting and I don’t mind people watching my stuff, but people have no right to educate me on my private life.”
It’s unclear what the status of Braff and Pugh’s relationship is now.
