50 Cent appeared to be referring to his long-running series ‘Power’ as well as its various spinoffs Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Power Book IV: Force.

He said the main reason he wanted to make the show was to make sure young kids new about Eminem’s roots and his impact, saying: “I think it should be there for his legacy, because if you don’t see… it’s important to me that they understand it, you know what I mean?”

50 cent has also appeared in two seasons of For Life, a crime drama that ran on ABC in 2020.

8 Mile was a semi-autobiographical story about Eminem’s own rise to fame and he starred as Jimmy Smith Jr, a car factory worker struggling to gain respect on the underground rap circuit.

The film, which also starred Kim Basinger, Michael Shannon and Anthony Mackie, and rappers Xzibit, Proof and Obie Trice, won Best Original Song for ‘Lose Yourself’ at the Oscars in 2003.
