Jessie James Decker returned to “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” as she has been the official Powerball Correspondent for four years in a row.
As the ball drops and the clock strikes midnight, the country music singer helps draw the winning Powerball numbers and announces the first lottery winner of 2023.
Last year, Decker gained the attention of millions of viewers as she rocked a blue sequined bodysuit, highlighting her assets — and not much changed for this year’s fit.

Jessie James Decker wore a sequined blazer with matching pants for this year’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest,” but what many viewers did not see on live television was the bodysuit underneath.
In a post shared to Instagram, the country music singer shared a behind-the-scenes look at her outfit, which was much more revealing than many originally thought.
“Peace out 2022✌️ My New Year’s resolution? Do less…but do more,” Decker captioned the post, which has gained hundreds of comments and likes from her 4.2 million followers.
Fans Are Loving Decker’s Look
Fans were quick to jump into the comments section of Decker‘s post as they could not get enough of the “Grow Young With You” singer’s post.

Jessie James Decker On “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve”
Jessie James Decker, known for her hit songs “Grow Young With You” and “Should’ve Known Better” returned to “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” for the fourth consecutive year as the official Powerball Correspondent.
When speaking to Music Mayhem about returning as the official Powerball Correspondent, Decker expressed, “Oh my goodness. Every year that I get to do this, I just pinch myself. It’s the most iconic New Year’s Eve show. I mean, they’ve mentioned it. It was a part of a Friends episode. I cannot believe that I get to do this every year alongside Ryan Seacrest and now Liza [Koshy]. Just so exciting.”
The country music singer continued, “I love that I get the job of making and sharing with someone that they are the first millionaire of the year. I mean, there’s nothing like it. You get to know these contestants and hear their stories and what it means to them. And being able to tell someone that their lives are going to be forever changed is just such an important job, and it’s so special, and just there’s so much positive energy in the air that I look forward to it.”
Just moments after midnight hit and millions rang in the New Year, Decker helped to announce the first Powerball winner of 2023 — Gary Krigbaum from North Carolina.
