Bindi Irwin Celebrates Her Mom Terri On Her ‘Unbirthday’
Happy “Unbirthday” Terri Irwin!
Bindi Irwin is celebrating her mom Terri on her half-birthday in a recent Instagram post that shows her appreciation for her “beautiful mama.”
“In our family we celebrate half birthdays and call them ‘unbirthdays.’ It’s such a lovely reminder that every day is a gift,” Bindi began the caption of her sweet celebration post. “Happy Unbirthday to my beautiful mama. Mum, You light up the world with your kind heart. I love you, forever. ❤️”
In the photo, Bindi is seen wearing a necklace with a photo of her father, the late Steve Irwin, otherwise known as the Crocodile Hunter. The sweet mother-daughter photo was taken back in November at the Steve Irwin Gala, an annual event that celebrates Steve’s legacy and helps to raise funds for Wildlife Warriors Worldwide.
Many of Bindi’s followers took time to leave a positive comment about celebrating her mom’s “unbirthday” and the message behind it. “What a beautiful sentiment,” one person wrote. “Your mom is absolutely beautiful! She has raised 2 of the most wonderful people on this earth,❤️” another said.
Many others commented on Bindi’s necklace. “Awwww ? your necklace is lovely,” one person wrote. Another added, “Love how you cherish your dad. Beautiful charm. ❤️”
Bindi Irwin Celebrates Her Family Often On Social Media
It’s not an unusual sight to see on Bindi’s social media that she’s professing her love and appreciation for her family. At the end of December, she posted a photo of her with her mom and brother Robert simply captioned, “???” Many of her followers have been following her family’s journey for a long time and comment on missing her father, but being thankful that the family is carrying on his legacy.
“Three BADDASSSS world-changers right there!! ❤️❤️❤️” one follower wrote. “Growing up I always looked up to Steve. But since becoming a mother I look up to Terri so much, ??” another fan added. Another fan of the Irwin family wrote, “It all started with Steve. He is missed by all.” Someone else also commented agreeing with that thought, saying, “I sure miss your Dad, but I’m so glad you are carrying on his legacy!”
In another appreciation post, Bindi had a message for her tight-knit family. “My sweet family, I love you with all my heart, forever and forever,” her caption reads for a photo of her with her mom, brother, husband Chandler Powell and daughter Grace.
One follower commented on who Robert is looking like, saying, “Your brother is starting to look exactly like his old man.” Another follower pointed out how sweet Bindi’s love for her family is by writing, “You’re the sweetest person, Dear Bindi. You exude the love your parents so freely and openly gave you. You shine. Thank you for inspiring me.”
Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Is Growing Up At The Australia Zoo
Bindi often shares photos and videos of her daughter Grace growing up surrounded by animals and her many interactions with the residents at the zoo. Powell hosted a video showing what happens after the zoo closes and Grace gets to explore her big backyard, otherwise known as the Australia Zoo.
“We’re here with special behind the scenes footage of a certain someone who starts their workday as soon as everyone has gone home,” Powell says in the beginning of the video, before showing daughter Grace in her pjs walking around the zoo. “Grace Warrior is Australia Zoo’s maintenance crew. She’s a crew of one,” Bindi said at the end of the adorable video.
