The Chrisley family is currently passing through tough times as they come to terms with their sad new reality

The reality TV stars, Todd & Julie Chrisley, were sentenced to a combined prison term of 19 years in November 2022 after a jury convicted the couple of a multimillion-dollar bank fraud and tax evasion scheme.

Two of their children, Chase Chrisley, 26, and Savannah Chrisley, 25, recently expressed their unwavering love for their parents after the two stars turned themselves in to begin their sentencing.

The TV personalities kicked off the new year preparing their minds for the years they would have to remain behind bars given the refusal of their appeal claims.

Per The Blast, Todd reported to FPC Pensacola in Florida to begin his dreadful prison term while his wife, Julie, turned herself in at Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky on Tuesday, January 17.

The dad of five did something astonishing the night before he was due to begin his 12-year prison sentence. Taking to his Instagram page, he shared a gospel video featuring Southern gospel singer Karen Peck performing her song, “Four Days Late” to a congregation. 

Taking courage from the song, he captioned the post, “HE is always on time… #fightthegoodfight.”

Moved by his soul-stirring post, he had people flood his comment section with inspiring words. His daughter, Savannah, commented, “Love you daddy,” to which he responded, “@savannahchrisley. I love you more, my beauty, and always will. Isn’t it great when he’s 4 days late and he’s still on time”?

His estranged son, Kyle, from his previous marriage, wrote, “I love you daddy this isn’t over.” Todd also received uplifting messages from other celebrities.

Meanwhile, his wife, Julie, is set to serve a seven-year prison sentence and 16 months of probation upon being released. Following the couple’s report to the prison, their kids took to social media to share their thoughts.

The couple’s first son, Chase, showed his support for his parents and posted on his Instagram story the bible verse, “Matthew 1:23, which read, ‘God is with us.’” He added a background picture featuring a deserted house surrounded by a huge tree and a Christmas tree decorated with glittering lights.  

His younger sister, Savannah, also reposted a fan’s supportive post on her Instagram story. The post, which was a verse from the books of Psalm, read, “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it (evil) shall not come near thee.” 

Adding a simple caption to the post, they wrote, “Thinking of the Chrisley family tonight. ? @savannahchrisley.”

In a subsequent post, Savannah shared a captivating picture of her mom, Julie, smiling with all her heart while donning a black outfit. Commenting on the picture, she wrote, “Will forever fight for this smile ❤️ I love you mama.”

The Doting Daughter Gave A Befitting Tribute To Her Mom On Her 50th Birthday

Savannah made the “Chrisley Knows Best” matriarch feel loved and appreciated on her 50th birthday, which happened three days before she and her husband, Todd, turned themselves in to serve their jail time. 

As reported, the 25-year-old penned down a tear-jerking note alongside a video posted on her Instagram account to mark her mother’s birthday. 

The one-minute video contained precious moments the mother and daughter duo shared, dating back to Savannah’s childhood. Exalting her sweet mother, she started by writing, “Happy Birthday to the most amazing woman that I know ❤️.”

She continued by expressing her displeasure over how her parents had been slapped with a jail sentence, writing, “Unfortunately, we are one of many that the system has failed, and I will continue to fight the good fight until we’re all home together.”

Showering her mom with praise, she added, “Thank you for being the mom that every girl dreams of having. For a lot of people… you only exist in fairytales but for me.. YOU’RE are my real life angel.”

She continued eulogizing her mom and ended the message on a powerful note, writing, “There’s no greater one than you mama?let’s fight the good fight.”

The 50-Year-Old Kept Her Trust In God Ahead Of Her Prison Sentence

Julie, just like her husband, Todd, has taken a spiritual approach and placed her faith in God as she confronts the hard times that have befallen her and her family.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” matriarch made an appearance an episode of “Chrisley Confessions” and was joined by her son, Chase, and his fiancée, Emily Medder.

In the chat, Julie addressed the dilemma her family has been currently faced with. She, however, optimistically declared, saying, “It’s so easy for us to forget the dark season when we’re flying high. God has not promised you smooth sailing, but he’s promised you a safe landing.”
