Meghan King’s Heart Is ‘Breaking’ Over Jim Edmonds Denial Of Their Child’s Illness
Meghan King is sick of explaining to her ex-husband Jim Edmonds that their son Hart has Cerebral Palsy.
Meghan King Is Proud Of Her Kids
The former Real Housewives of Orange County star shared on her podcast “Intimate Knowledge” that her ex is in complete denial that one of the three children they share together has a lifelong illness that isn’t going to go away.
“Hart has cerebral palsy, Jim,” she said directly to him hoping he is listening to her podcast or that this will somehow get back to him like everything else she says and done. “What kind of father doesn’t know that?” she asked.
King went on to share that she feels “sad” for Jim because he is so hung up on this. “It breaks my heart,” she claims.
Jim Edmonds Doesn’t Inquire About Hart
Meghan went on to really throw her ex under the bus claiming that Jim has never asked about Hart’s illness and “has not attended” any of the specialist appointments. She elaborates, “When I say that, I mean neurologist, ophthalmologist, audiologist — he’s never gone to one IEP [Individualized Education Program] meeting,” insisted Meghan “None of that.”
Meghan went on to say that Jim also hasn’t even “asked to see” his son’s medical records for any kind of confirmation of insight.
The whole situation is really upsetting and you can hear it in Meg’s voice as she trembles through the conversation trying not to sound angry. “He has access to them,” she insists. “He has access to the CP diagnosis. It has been given to all [Hart’s] schools, all his teachers. I have them printed out in Hart’s file sitting right next to me.”
Meghan King Is In A Never Ending Feud With Jim Edmonds
King has been in one long fight with Edmonds since the divorce was filed and even now as it has been settled and the two have moved on to new partners and lives they still can’t get the co-parenting thing right. We get it, it’s hard.
But, King and Edmonds both want to get their points across and continue to throw insults and accusations at one another. This time it is about Hart’s health. Jim has gone on record saying that Meghan has been exaggerating Hart’s health on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast earlier this week.
“I’m like, well, OK then tell the truth. Don’t tell the sad stories all the time. Just be straight.”
He pointed out that Meghan is a liar. “I don’t know if the truth has come out of her mouth since [Kortnie] and I have been together.”
Jim even claimed to be able to back up his theory that Meghan is a liar. “I can give you an entire list, if not all of three years, of straight lies.” The two were married from 2014 to 2019 and a lot of that time was featured on RHOC where fans could see that Meg’s marriage was rickety and about to fall apart but when they brought the kids in many people claimed to have seen a change in Jim.
Clearly not enough of a change for the marriage to last.
