Her Royal Highness is already a mom to a son, August 1 who she enlisted to help share her special news on Instagram. The fiery redhead shared a photo of her son snuggling into her belly, she is smiling hopefully.
“We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer,” she captioned the photo, sharing that Jack was the photographer. August was born in February of 2021, bringing the royal into a new phase in her life, mommyhood.
The princess has shared some moments during her first year as a mom on her social media page including black and white photos of their son’s arrival into the world.

“In the announcement, Eugenie wrote, “We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.. ???
Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can’t express. We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.
? By our wonderful midwife. Thank you to the wonderful essential workers including our midwife who came to discharge our boy.”
They shared photos of themselves dotting on their new obsession, not the same pomp and circumstance that Williams babies would receive but a big deal nonetheless.
Buckingham palace released its own statement as well because, why not? “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021. The baby weighs 8 lbs. 1 oz. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
Princess Eugenie Took Her Time Revealing Baby August
During her last pregnancy, the royal took a beat to share her son’s name and face. Two weeks to be exact. When she did it was with that sweet IG post with the photos taken by the midwife. Do you think Eugenie will wait a few weeks again to share her new bundle with the world?
She hasn’t revealed the sex of her baby or exactly how far along she is, we only know she is geared up to have a summer baby and she already has a boy, maybe she will luck out and get a girl this time?
One thing is for sure, we will get fun, ‘royals are like us’ moments of the princess attending events, going for walks, sharing daddy/son moments, and all those good things on her official Instagram page.

The royal’s loyal followers are just as excited as she is to experience this new path in life. “What wonderful news!! And as for this pic…. It’s everything ?❤️,” wrote one follower. “Omg! New royal baby, let’s go! Congrats!” noted another.
Eugenie’s mom and former royal Sarah Ferguson was happy as well, “Granny heaven ❤️,” she commented on her daughter’s post. she also shared her excitement on her own IG page. “You will be sharing puddles, Augie ! Superb news, Granny heaven…. So deeply grateful.”
She posted a photo of “Augie” in a yellow raincoat and splashing in puddles. Congrats Mum and grandmum!
