Teen Wolf: The Movie introduced some new characters to the franchise and one in particular has gained some attention.
Vince Mattis joined the cast as Eli Hale, the teen son of Tyler Hoechlin’s Derek Hale.

In the movie, Eli isn’t able to transform into a werewolf at first, gaining his abilities later in the movie.
Sadly, his father dies in the movie, and he becomes a part of Scott’s pack, with Derek telling Scott to take care of him right before he died.
Following the release of the long-awaited movie, creator/writer Jeff Davis shared that Eli could potentially lead his own series!
“Now that we’ve introduced a couple of new characters in the movie, like Eli, I could see him leading up a whole series of his own,” he shared with Paramount.
Jeff has an overall deal with Paramount/MTV Entertainment Studios, and also has the new show Wolf Pack as part of that deal. So, could another Teen Wolf series come out with Eli?
“But after [Wolf Pack], I’ll be taking a step back, for now from any more werewolf content,” he said.
Well, for now we’ll just have to wait and see…
