“The amazing thing about re-recordings like this is that you can experience a song like you’re hearing it for the first time when at the same time you already know you love the song from the first note,” said another. “A whole new opportunity to appreciate the lyrics, her voice, the music. It’s brilliant!”

“In the old version she sounds broken and trying to heal from love and it’s like she’s desperately hoping love will find her again,” another fan thought. “In this version, she sounds happy, she sounds healed, she is the old girl telling to her younger self that love indeed will come back to her.”

It’s hard to say what Swift will do, especially since fans know that the “Wildest Dreams” singer loves to keep her fans guessing!

The description of the video provided links to where fans could play the song on streaming platforms and purchase the digital single on her website. Her website also contains links to purchase exclusive products fans can’t get in stores, like a 1989 hat ($35) or a 1989 Seagull Necklace ($30). Although all of the 1989 merch may have fans hoping that it’s a sure sign that 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is about to drop later this month, there is also a Speak Now necklace ($30) and other products that look back on Taylor Swift’s previous era.

Fans found plenty of clues in Swift’s previous outfits and social media posts to lead them to believe that either 1989 or Speak Now would be the next album to drop. The lyric video for “This Love” is a clear sign that the “Black Space” singer is leaning towards re-releasing 1989 next, but it’s difficult to say what Swift will do!

1989 is widely regarded as one of Swift’s best albums. The album – Swift’s fifth studio album for those keeping count – was released on October 27, 2014, by Big Machine Records and sold over 1.287 million copies in its first week, as per Billboard. 1989, which marked Swift fully embracing the mainstream pop genre, produced several Billboard Hot 100 singles, including “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space,” and “Bad Blood.”

At the 58th Grammy Awards, 1989 won Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, which made Swift the first female solo artist to win Album of the Year not once, but twice. It also won the American Music Award for Favorite Pop Album, the Billboard Music Awards for Billboard Top 200 Album, and the iHeart Radio Music Award for Album of the Year.

It’s hard to say which album will come next, but 1989 was a massive success for Swift. If “This Love (Taylor’s Version)” was any indication, 1989 (Taylor’s Version) may prove to be even better!
