Countdown Begins To Premiere Of Heather Rae & Tarek’s Show, ‘The Flipping El Moussas’
The El Moussas’ bag just got heavier with their upcoming show.
The real estate power couple Heather Rae & Tarek El Moussa first announced their HGTV docu-series “The Flipping El Moussas” in June. After months of hard work and putting together amazing content that they co-produced, the love birds are finally read to share their journey with fans.
‘The Flipping El Moussas’ Gets A Premiere Date
The expecting mom took to her IG Story to tease a big announcement via a ten seconds clip that showed her rocking a green sweater paired with sunglasses and a tiny strap bag. While taking a stroll, Heather said, “Okay, there is an exciting announcement being posted to my feed very soon, so stay tuned” Seeming pleased with the information, she wrote in the caption, “Announcement coming soon ????.”
Before long, Tarek and Heather made a joint post with their kids, Taylor and Brayden, that showed them standing in what looked like their unborn son’s nursery. The captioned post detailed the information his wife had teased on her social media page. In parts, they wrote:
“Everyone get ready for the premiere of The Flipping El Moussas on Thursday, March 2, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on @hgtv (which will also be available to stream the same day on discovery+!!).”
The 41-year-old noted the content fans are to expect from the show and how it would come with its challenges and “some battles with budgets” However, they included that fans would get to see some good parts like the “laughter, chaos, and love that’s in our family as we also grow our family too.” Heather and Tarek then mentioned:
“We are so proud to have co-produced The Flipping El Moussas alongside an amazing production team. We KNOW you guys are going to love it and we’re so excited for this adventure in our lives!!”
Finally, the couple excitedly quizzed followers about their anticipation of the upcoming show, and as expected, fans came through with their opinions. “So excited! Veteran stepmom here-rooting for you to continue promoting a positive image of bonus moms. The world needs to see that stepmoms are seriously incredible humans!!!” an excited fan commented.
Another fan wrote, “I’m so excited to see you guys work together! I love the chemistry between you both. You guys will grow old together.” A longtime follower and enthusiastic fan wrote, “Excited to see Heather’s design choices because she has lux real estate experience. I would like to see lux on a budget!”
‘The Flipping El Moussas’ Has Been A Longtime Coming
This premiere date announcement comes several months after the couple teased the show last year. In June, The Blast reported on how they shared intimate moments in the series.
An excited Heather, who was a newlywed at the time, took to her Instagram to break the news of the gig to her then 2.8 followers, including four photos of her and her husband posing in different houses, writing,
“Beyond thrilled to finally share some really exciting news! After many conversations, we’ve finally made one of our goals a reality and are excited to announce our all-new series, The Flipping El Moussas, with HGTV coming in 2023!”
Many fans congratulated the couple on the milestone; others dropped fire and love emojis. Others called the show a “copycat” of the series Tarek and his ex-wife, Christina Hall, used to have.
However, the show promised to be very different from others because viewers would see Tarek and his wife handle several significant moments in their lives. Besides, some episodes were reportedly going to show fans glimpses into their personal lives and how Heather will get into her husband’s world of flipping.
Likewise, sometime in November, the 35-year-old faced some troubles while filming for the show. As fans are aware, Heather is expecting her first child with Tarek, and while they announced the pregnancy in July, it didn’t deter her from working until she succumbed to a brief illness.
However, The Blast reported on how she shared the news with her followers, saying she was back to set. The three-picture update was captioned:
“Don’t let this glam fool you, i’ve been sick ever since last Saturday and have basically been living in comfy clothes 24/7. I’ve been so go go go, even today I’m back on set filming which forced me out of my sweatpants for a little, but I genuinely love being busy… that’s just who I am war but back to resting tomorrow!”
The actress also mentioned that “Tea and honey, Humidifier, Soup & crackers, Coconut water, Lots of sleep, Water, Smoothies, Breathing with steam and eucalyptus” helped her feel better, then asked for “any more suggestions for pregnant mamas-to-be” from her fans.
