Leslie Mann and Tim Robbins have both dropped out an upcoming Amazon project.
On Monday (May 30), it was reported that the two actors have exited the upcoming drama-thriller series The Power that was in the works at Amazon Prime Video, according to Deadline.

The upcoming thriller series is an adaption Naomi Alderman’s feminist sci-fi book of the same name.
Here’s the synopsis: “Set in current times, The Power follows the story of a group of teenage girls from all over the world who are suddenly gifted with the superhuman ability to electrocute people using just their fingers. As the teens begin to discover the hereditary backgrounds of their new life-altering abilities, the story sees a huge power shift take place as women begin to replace men in positions of power,” according to Collider.
Back in 2019, Leslie was cast as the lead character Margot Clearly-Lopez with Rainn Wilson cast as male lead Daniel Dandon.
Production for The Power was then shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic and Rainn dropped out after becoming unavailable.
In January 2021, Tim was cast to replace Rainn.
As of right now, it’s unclear why Leslie and Tim dropped out of the show. Both roles will now be recast.
