Jason Oppenheim put circulating rumors to rest he had staged a phone call during an episode of "Selling Sunset's" latest season.

One of the more minor situations featured on the fifth season of Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” may soon be put to rest!

Oppenheim brother and Chrishell Stause’s former boo Jason, has finally responded to rumors of the Oppenheim Group President staging a phone call while conducting business.

A “Selling Sunset” fan had screenshot the moment where it looks as if Oppenheim seems to be making a phone call using the iPhone camera app, and posted the picture on Twitter.

What Really Happened With The Phone Call?

It turns out the phone call’s actual ‘vibes’ were real after all!

Oppenheim finally attempted to put those rumors to rest, after being asked for the full scoop.

According to TMZ, as per Us Weekly, Oppenheim explained “It was not a fake phone call. I don’t know that got so much light.”

Those who were observant enough to catch the camera app open on his phone were actually half correct!

Us Weekly went on to report the camera app had been open while Oppenheim was on the phone, but it had been open “by mistake.”

No Need For Overthinking!

The small technicality doesn’t really need as much attention as it received. At least that’s what Oppenheim seems to think!

“It’s not that complicated,” Oppenheim said in a video were he took viewers through the process of making a phone call to his assistant while his phone’s camera was visible, “I know that it was a real call so I know that it works.”

“The call is on right now,” he also said while showing the TMZ camerawoman he had successfully dialed his assistant.

How Is Oppenheim Feeling Since The Season Dropped?

One aspect of “Selling Sunset” and its latest season that Oppenheim is not overthinking?

His break-up with Stause.

Now that those rumors of a staged phone call are out of the way, it looks as if Oppenheim will soon be able to put season five behind him, but not quite yet.

We will surely hear more info about the dissolution of Oppenheim’s relationship with Stause at the Christine Quinn-less reunion, which will be released on Friday.

But for now Oppenheim has only directly addressed their split in an Instagram post.

According to Elle, the break-up post read, “While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends and we will always love and support one another. She was the most amazing girlfriend I’ve ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life…”

Both Stause and Oppenheim have been candid in sharing the reason for their split.

Stause has been vocal about her desire for motherhood one day, and Oppenheim was more reluctant to take the big step.

Some of the former couple’s closest contacts have been open about being ‘surprised’ the pair had ultimately decided to call it quits.

The Oppenheim Group’s newly appointed vice President and Oppenheim’s former girlfriend Mary Fitzgerald recently spoke up about Oppenheim and Stause’s split.

“It’s sad because I love them together,” Fitzgerald told Us Weekly as per Elle.

We definitely wish the cordial former lovebirds luck with the season’s reunion dropping this Friday!
