Dear Gossips,
The BAFTAs were last night – we’ll have coverage of the results later today – and the fashion parade came out, led by the woman who’s reliably been the grand marshal of so many fashion parades for the past year: Jodie Turner-Smith.
Jodie works with stylists Wayman + Micah who also had Danielle Deadwyler on their list for the BAFTAs. Here’s Danielle in glorious Armani Privé:

That’s not actually my favourite look on Danielle recently though. For me, Danielle in head-to-toe Chanel is the standout.

As for Jodie – she’s a Gucci girl and it was Gucci for the BAFTAs: purple, feathers, fringe, sequins, perfect. And OMG that neckpiece!

Jodie stayed in purple for the after-party but switched it up in a slip dress under a black and white fur coat with tall black boots. And added her husband to the wardrobe.
She and Joshua Jackson have been in London the last couple of months now filming the Star Wars series, The Acolyte, co-starring Amandla Stenberg and Lee Jung-jae. Production is expected to run until late April/early May which would then free Jung-jae up to start shooting Squid Game season two. He said in a recent interview that filming is supposed to begin in the summer and go for ten months, which is how long they spent on the first season.
As for The Acolyte, the series will reportedly premiere on Disney+ in the first half of 2024. So a year from now. That said, they could wrap on production of Star Wars in a couple of months. Perhaps we’ll get a teaser on May 4th? So curious to see how Jodie Turner-Smith fits into the Star Wars Universe.
