I went to see Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania the other day and when the trailer for The Little Mermaid came on, my movie date asked me if I’d be going to see it and I looked at him with bug-eyes all like… of course, why would you even ask me that.
I can’t wait to see The Little Mermaid, for many reasons, and one of those reasons is Simone Ashley. There’s no official confirmation yet about her character but reportedly she’s playing Indira, one of Triton’s daughters which means she’s one of Ariel’s sisters?

And then of course there’s season three of Bridgerton. Simone will return as Kate Sharma although Netflix has yet to announce when, exactly, the third season will drop. Given that the Queen Charlotte series is coming in May, though, I wonder if they’ll just hold Bridgerton S3 until the back half of the year, for the holidays.
On the personal side, Simone went IG official with her boyfriend a couple of months ago and he was with her at the BAFTA Netflix party the other night.
More people were talking about her fit though because that’s a gorgeous top. It’s not the fashion item I’m focusing on though. A more casually dressed Simone stepped out with her dog today in a really cute fit and the jeans…
Specifically the front seam on these jeans – not usually a detail I like (there’s also a seam on the back), but on her, it looks great, and now I’m considering whether or not I want a pair. It has to be this exact cut though. Any hint of a boot cut or a flare doesn’t work. Straight leg, even a slight taper, and just above the ankle is the way to wear it. The search begins!
