Tatiana Maslany & Laurie Metcalf to Return to Broadway in ‘Legitmately Terrifying’ New Broadway Play ‘Grey House’

Tatiana Maslany and Laurie Metcalf are both heading back to Broadway in the first show of the upcoming 2023-24 season.

The actresses will lead the production of the new play Grey House, which has been called a “legitimately terrifying” play. We can’t wait!

When a couple crashes their car in the mountains, they seek shelter in an isolated cabin. Its inhabitants, though somewhat unusual, are eager to make their guests feel right at home. But as the blizzard outside rages on and one night turns into several, the couple becomes less and less sure of what’s true—about their hosts, themselves, and why that sound in the walls keeps getting louder.

Head inside to see who else is starring in the play…

Also starring in the play are Emmy Award nominee Paul Sparks, The School for Good and Evil’s Sophia Anne Caruso and A Quiet Place’s Millicent Simmonds. Tony winner Joe Mantello, who recently starred in American Horror Story, will direct the play.

The production will begin performances on April 29 ahead of an officially opening of May 30, which means it misses the cut-off for the 2023 Tony Awards. Grey House will be the first play to be eligible for the 2024 Tonys!

“The moment we encountered Levi Holloway’s Grey House, we knew we had to produce this exciting, sophisticated, and terrifying new play. We are thrilled to bring the horror genre to Broadway, helmed by one of the greatest directors of our time, Joe Mantello. Grey House will be unlike anything Broadway audiences have ever experienced, brought to life by extraordinary actors—Laurie Metcalf, Tatiana Maslany, and Paul Sparks—and a team of brilliant designers,” note producers Tom Kirdahy and Robert Ahrens.

Tickets are on sale now for performances through September 3.
