‘My heart just burst from these pictures’

More than 37 years after the release of Back To The Future, its stars, Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson and Tom Wilson reunited sending fans into overdrive.

Thompson, who played Lorraine in the franchise’s first two films, posted a selfie on Instagram with Fox, Lloyd and Wilson from Fan Expo Portland last weekend.

“Wow, honestly had the best time today with my #bttf family,” Thompson wrote alongside the photo. “So many fun fan moments too and a llama,” she added.

Back to the Future was released in December 1985. It was followed by Back to the Future Part II in 1989 and Back to the Future Part III in 1990.

Thompson also shared videos, one featured her with Lloyd, who played iconic scientist Dr. Emmett ‘Doc’ Brown.

“Look who’s here. Look what the cat dragged in,” Thompson says in the short clip.

Wilson, who starred as Biff Tannen, shared a selfie of the four, captioning the pic, “Okay, so this happened. 2023.”

“I’m a butthead, right?” Thompson asked Wilson in one of her videos, quoting his character’s classic insult from the films.

Wilson replied in kind, knocking his first on Thompson’s head, asking: “Hello, anybody home?”

Back To The Future, directed by Robert Zemeckis, premiered in 1985,

Fans loved see the gang all back together.

One wrote: “My heart just burst from these pictures.”

Another added: “Wow, love seeing you all together.”

The reunion comes just months after Fox and Lloyd caught up in October at another fan convention.

At that event, Fox walked out onto the stage, stopping for a moment to treat fans to an air guitar version of Marty McFly’s moves from the film’s legendary ‘Johnny B. Goode’ scene.

After he was joined by Lloyd, the pair hugged it out before taking to the couch to respond to questions from fans.
