Jennifer Coolidge & ‘The White Lotus’ Cast Win Big at SAG Awards 2023!

Jennifer Coolidge is a winner!

The 61-year-old actress won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role in The White Lotus at the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night (February 26) at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

“It’s been a very special year and you know, overwhelming,” Jennifer said in her acceptance speech. “And White Lotus and Mike White writing me this great part that went on for two seasons, and just HBO giving me the thumbs up to let me to it.”

“I just want to say,” Jennifer continued, getting emotional. “I want you all to know that I’m just so grateful. So grateful, because this could be it.”

Moments after her win, the cast of season two ofThe White Lotus won the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series!

The cast of season two of The White Lotus includes Jennifer, F. Murray Abraham, Paolo Camilli, Adam DiMarco, Meghann Fahy, Federico Ferrante, Bruno Gouery, Beatrice Grannò, Jon Gries, Tom Hollander, Sabrina Impacciatore, Michael Imperioli, Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Haley Lu Richardson, Eleonora Romandini, Federico Scribani, Will Sharpe, Simona Tabasco, Leo Woodall, and Francesco Zecca.

While accepting the award on behalf of the cast, F. Murray said, “This was the best job I ever had. And not only because of this really remarkable, wonderful family of actors, but because [creator] Mike [White] and [executive producers] David [Bernad] and Mark [Kamine] pulled together an international company of technicians and actors. And we all lived together in the same place, we all ate together, and we all worked together. So this is not only for the actors, this is for the entire company.”

He concluded his speech by saying, “This is a wonderful time, but I’d like to send a prayer out to the earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey, and a prayer for peace in Ukraine and Russia. Union forever!”
