11 Times Tamron Hall Asked Celebs Tough AF Questions And/Or Took Them To Task

The Tamron Hall Show is one of my favorite daytime talk shows. One of my favorite parts about the show is how Tamron utilizes her journalism background to ask celebrities hard-hitting questions that people actually wanna know. She also takes celebs to task for being problematic.

Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan were once teammates. After Scottie voiced his disapproval of the way he was portrayed in Michael’s docuseries The Last Dance, it was clear there was no friendship. Here, Tamron asks Larsa why she would date the son of her ex-husband’s foe. Full interview here.

2. When she took Stassi Schroeder to task about her controversial comments about race, as well as her calling the police on her Black costar Faith Stowers:

During a discussion with Rachel Dolezal, Tamron talked about the backlash and punishment Rachel faced, without going easy on her for lying about being white. Full interview here.

6. When Kim Burrell tried to explain away her viral sermon, where she said, “Sometimes, before we get friends, we have to do an interview: How long you been broke? How many times have you changed your name on your light bill? How many of your bills are in your little cousin’s name? Do you live in a trailer home or a house?” Tamron reminded her of how offended people were by putting these tweets up on the screen:

Kim Burrell kind of made it clear that she wasn’t sorry for what she said, but rather frustrated that people were mad. Full Tamron interview here.

7. When she said this to disgraced drag queen Sherry Pie — who was disqualified from Drag Race — after multiple victims came forward alleging predatory behavior and catfishing:

Sherry Pie responded saying he’s started therapy and spoken to victims.

9. Aaaand when she asked Sherry if he’s prepared to face criminal charges:

ABC

Sherry said yes, he is.

10. When she pressed Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum about the scandal where he and two men were found in a Miami hotel room unconscious with bags of meth:

ABC

In the interview, she asks him about allll the details of the scandal. Full interview here.

11. And finally, she questioned Tyra Banks about the problematic, controversial resurfaced clips of America’s Next Top Model:

ABC

Tyra explained her side, saying, “America’s Next Top Model — I created it to introduce persity and inclusion into a world that wasn’t representing it — or representing it in a minute way. That was the crux of why I started America’s Next Top Model. It’s why my partner Ken Mok and I, who’s Chinese American, got up every single day, and we made so many inroads,” she said. “But at the same time, we were still operating in a world — I was still operating in this world that had so many rules. I was trying to push boundaries, but also torn to make sure these girls work.” Full interview here.

In conclusion, don’t sleep on The Tamron Hall Show. It’s got some pretty amazing moments. You can watch them here on her YouTube channel.
