DaBaby Sued For More Than $2 Million Over Alleged Beverly Hills Beatdown

“Suge” rapper DaBaby is being sued after he allegedly attacked an individual during the 2019 Christmas season.

DaBaby Is Paying BIG!

The rapper, born Jonathan Kirk, is being sued by Cristofher Pocasangren over an alleged assault. In the statement of damages, obtained by The Blast, he is now on the hook for over $2 million for infliction of emotional distress and other charges after their December 2019 confrontation in addition to the assault charge.

The incident allegedly took place at a Marriott Hotel where the plaintiff worked. He asked the 28-year-old for a photo and apparently, he didn’t like that and declined. The plaintiff decided to take a picture, anyway, infringing on the rapper’s space.

DaBaby then asked him to delete the photo, Pocasangren agreed but he claims that later when the rapper saw him again, he wasn’t over the situation, he followed him into the hotel and put his hands on the hotel employee.

Altercation Was Caught On Camera

This entire incident was recorded by the security cameras at the hotel. At the time, the rapper claimed that the hotel employee actually attacked him first and he was defending himself. Obviously, the video recording proved otherwise.

The rapper also has another lawsuit pending against a man named Gary Pager who also accused him of assault. The supposed 2021 incident took place in North Carolina after the man attempted to enforce “basic rental rules” in a property he was renting to DaBaby.

A hearing was set for April of this year, but the rapper is asking to have it pushed back because of the case we mentioned above. This guy is really stacking up cases right now.

DaBaby’s attorney said in legal docs. “If the trial date is not continued, [DaBaby] will not be able to respond to discovery or testify without providing information that could potentially incriminate him in the parallel criminal case. The trial date must be continued to protect [DaBaby’s] Fifth Amendment rights.”

What Were The ‘Basic’ Rules He Broke

The rapper and his crew supposedly fled the scene when the police arrived leaving behind thousands of dollars in damage which included a security camera. Plus, according to the landlord, he didn’t pay the full lease.

And in the ultimate petty dig, he supposedly stole “valuable kitchenware.” Only time will tell which court case will take the lead!
