A Bournemouth fan’s footage at the Emirates captured the exact moment Arsenal scored their stoppage time winner to complete a remarkable 3-2 comeback.

Bournemouth appeared to be heading towards a memorable victory until goals from Thomas Partey and Ben White levelled the score and set-up a thrilling end to the match on Saturday. Mikel Arteta’s side went on to win with one of the last kicks of the game, sparking wild scenes in north London.

And fan footage from a Cherries supporter captured the gut-wrenching moment where Reiss Nelson controlled the ball and fired it into the net with 97 minutes played.

The away end could be heard cheering the initial clearance after Martin Odegaard’s corner. But it was all too premature as they were left head-in-hands after Nelson’s stunning strike.

Bournemouth supporters let out a huge groan in unison while the 60,000 Arsenal fans around them erupted. And the Back Of The Net podcast host filming was left visibly stunned as he shook his head and said: “That is f***ing devastating.”

While some of the Gunners faithful on Twitter taunted their opponents due to some persistent Bournemouth time-wasting which eventually backfired, others offered their sympathies.

One Twitter user wrote: “Every football fan knows this feeling. It's sickening, but sometimes it's just not your day.” Another tweeted: “I do feel for them. But the team got what they deserved for so much time-wasting.”

A third commented: “Have to feel for them to be fair what a kick in the nuts,” while a fourth added: “We've all been there. Gutting.”

The win meant Arsenal maintained their five point lead over Manchester City in the Premier League title race. Meanwhile, Bournemouth sank to bottom of the table, having momentarily escaped the bottom three.
