Couple ditch ‘monotonous’ life in the UK to travel Australia in an ice cream van

This week, thousands of Brits have been tempted by the sunny weather and higher salaries of Australia.

The Western Australian Government is currently recruiting 31,000 Brits to move to Perth including doctors, nurses and teachers.

While financial experts have shared warnings with Brits looking to make the move, there are some UK residents who have already successfully made the change.

Husband and wife Izzie and Jack Partridge, both 25 and from Birmingham, say they’re “happier than [they’ve] ever been” after moving down under.

The duo decided to pack cup their live in England as soon as Australia’s borders opened after the Covid-19 pandemic.

In March last year, they hopped on a plane to begin their new lives – and now travel around Australia in an ice cream van.
