Liam Gallagher buys £3million mansion in Cannes from TV star with six bedrooms
Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has shelled out £3million for TV legend Noel Edmonds' six-bedroom mansion in France.
But the 18th-century property near Cannes has some unique features that might serve as constant reminders for Liam of his estranged brother and former band-mate Noel.
Ex-Deal or No Deal host Edmonds has engraved his first name into walls and fittings around the three-floor pad, although a source has told The Sun that Liam, 50, has has a good laugh about the ex-Noel's House Party presenter's personal interior design touches.

And he cannot wait to spend time there with his 39-year-old, French-speaking fiancee Debbie Gwyther.
"Liam’s been telling mates, 'I’ve bought Mr Blobby’s house'," the source said. "Him and Debbie plan to put their own stamp on it. They think all the carvings of Noel’s name are quite funny and ironic."
