With that in mind, we rounded up 40 films premiering in spring 2023 (aka March 2023 through the first week of May 2023) that you’re not going to want to miss! It’s well documented on this site (BuzzFeed dot com) that I, Allie, the human person writing this article you’re reading, am very excited for this movie. I was privileged enough to get to cover Comic-Con 2022 for this site (BuzzFeed dot com), and it was my favorite panel by far. I play D&D myself, and I also love goofy adventure movies (I have been ride or die for The Mummy long before our beloved Brendan Fraser won his Oscar). So, needless to say, I’m rooting for this one. I hope it’s real dumb and real fun.

In a movie whose plot sounds like I threw a bunch of wild words into a hat, then tripped and spilled the contents of the hat onto the floor on accident, slipped around in them, fell, then read the sentence I landed on out loud: Toni Collette plays a recently jilted woman who returns to Italy for her grandfather’s funeral, only to discover that he was the feared leader of a major crime family. “Obsessed” is an understatement.
