Eamonn Holmes emotional as he pays tribute to late mum for Mother’s Day
Eamonn Holmes has shared an emotional tribute to his late mum ahead of Mother's Day, with the GB News host reflecting on how much he loved her.
The Northern Irish journalist, who currently works for GB News, sadly lost his mother Josephine in November 2022. She was aged 93.
Ahead of Mothering Sunday, Eamonn, 63, took to his Instagram page to share a sweet video of his mum, with a very touching caption to accompany the clip.

"This is my first year without a Mother on Mother’s Day," he began.

At the time of Eamonn's mum's passing last November, he took to social media to break the sad news to his followers, with him writing: "My four amazing brothers and I said goodbye for the last time to our beautiful Mum Josie this afternoon.
"She's at last reunited with Daddy now. That is our only consolation."
Eamonn's dad Leonard, died of a heart attack while driving at the age of 64.
