One star of 2022 horror flick Smile has decided to ditch her acting career and opt for a role in the adult film industry instead – although she claims the pair aren’t that different.

Caitlin Stasey starred as Laura Weaver in the scary movie, which followed a woman who was haunted by a week-long curse that saw strangers turn into deadly attackers all with huge grins on their faces.

She’s also known for playing Rachel Kinski in Australian soap Neighbours, and starring as Francesca in 2003’s The Sleepover Club.

"So, the sets that I was a part or that I was a leader of were always very, like, really warm and kind and patient.”

But directing the films proved “tough”, as she was challenge to take charge of a group of people on set – confessing she had to be “judge, jury and executioner”.

The sex scented film isn’t the only erotic encounter Caitlin has had in the industry, as she also made a film during Covid-19 lockdown entitled U Up?

It told the story of a couple who had a sexual encounter via their mobile phones during the height of the pandemic.
