Amanda Kloots is opening up about how unprepared she was when Nick Cordero proposed. 

The 41-year-old recently gave fans a hot tea about her marriage proposal from her late husband, who passed on in 2020 due to COVID-related issues. Kloots and Nick met while working on “Bullets Over Broadway” and tied the knot in 2017 before welcoming their son, Elvis in 2019. In a recent post, she remembered her proposal with the “Blue Bloods” actor and how she did not know he would pop the big question.

On March 21st, the TV personality took to Instagram to share a stunning picture of herself and Nick. The snapshot represents the day the two got engaged. She and her lover were rocking dark-framed eyewear, and they gave the camera a big smile. In the photo, they looked so happy as they joined their heads together.

The mom of one sported a red plaid T-shirt underneath a grey sweater, while Nick wore a navy blue plaid T-shirt. Although the lovebirds looked joyful, the engagement ring on Kloots’ hands stole the spotlight. 

It was a simple gold band with a heart-shaped diamond in the middle. Her nails were painted with a neutral tone color and had an eyeball design at the bottom. In the caption, the broadway star recalled the beautiful proposal from six years ago in “Huston, NY.”

Also, she quipped at the manicure she wore in the post. In the end, she noted, “Clearly I had no idea he was going to give me a ring,” then a laughing emoji. Many of the actress’ supporters resonated with her message and made an effort to show love and support to her.

One fan wrote, “Gorgeous!!!! You two have changed my whole life, I so appreciate you sharing your love story with the world ❤️.” Another user wrote, “LOVE this ?❤️,” while a third stated, “Beautiful memory special times. Pictures are so important and capture moments in time that we can never get back again.” 

A fourth commentator with three laughing emojis after writing, “Omg this manicure.” “Aww. That photo is so sweet. Nick was so cute. Elvis looks just like him. So wonderful you found each other. Now you have Elvis!” a fifth user wrote. 

Speaking of sweet memories, the fitness instructor previously thanked Cafe Fiorello, a restaurant in New York City for immortalizing her late husband. The Blast noted that she commemorated this heartwarming gesture by uploading four photographs featuring herself and her loved ones at the restaurant.

In the first image, Kloots was smiling at an engraved sign; however, the second slide unveiled the words engraved on the gold plaque. It read, “This Table is Reserved For Michael & Dennis Basso. In Honor of Nick Cordero.” A third snap showed the actress with a big smile as she pointed at the sign while she and her guests posed for the last slide.

In the accompanying caption, the TV host revealed that she has visited Cafe Fiorello since she “moved to NYC in 2000!” Then it became her and Cordero’s place, where they would “sit outside, enjoying the view of Lincoln Center over Aperol spritz on a summer day.” 

Furthermore, she shouted out the spot for honoring the “Rock of Ages” star “with a booth when he died.” The long-winded message’s end read, “He would think that was the coolest thing. I love going back, eating here and visiting his table. An incredibly special time.”

The Broadway Star Drops Dance Steps To Late Husband’s Song

In a previous report by The Blast, the “DWTS” alum gave fans a sneak peek at her late husband’s song. She shared a clip that featured her in a gorgeous red and white two-piece outfit and her hair styled into a ponytail.

“The Talk” host danced with Hugo Lopez, who seemed to have the better moves. The DJ donned an oversized white shirt with a deep V-neck, matching shorts, with green and white sneakers.

The dancing duo swayed to the song “Oye Como Va,” in the background. The Instagram clip was captioned, “How could I not attend Salsa class ?.” During a conversation with a fan, who commented, “Love your dance AND the song!” along with the hashtag, “RIPNICK,” Kloots confirmed that Cordero sang the song.
