Jonathan Majors was arrested on suspicion of strangulation, assault, and harassment in New York City on Saturday morning.
Mike Coppola / Getty ImagesIn a statement to BuzzFeed News, Jonathan’s lawyer Priya Chaudhry said the actor is “completely innocent and is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows.”

Michael Buckner / Variety via Getty Images“The US Army is aware of the arrest of Jonathan Majors, and we are deeply concerned by the allegations surrounding his arrest,” Laura DeFrancisco, the public affairs chief for the Army Enterprise Marketing Office, said in a statement (via the Hollywood Reporter).
