Charlie Puth Drops New Song ‘That’s Not How This Works’ with Dan + Shay – Listen!
Charlie Puth has just debuted his new song “That’s Not How This Works”!
The 31-year-old musician’s latest track is his first since the release of his latest album, Charlie, which came out in October 2022, and features Dan + Shay.
“Really proud of this song we created with our friend + musical genius @charlieputh,” Dan + Shay shared.
Check out the song and see what Charlie said inside…
“I wrote That’s Not How This Works on zoom with @danandshay in April of 2020. I went through many changes musically in my life, but always kept this song in my back pocket because I knew how special it was,” Charlie wrote about the song.
“It was after all the song that propelled me into the next phase of my life. It was the song that healed me. With all of these feelings that I hadn’t come face to face with before, I finally mustered up the courage to put a melody against them. When you listen to this song, I hope you feel what I felt when I wrote it- a sense of relief.”
Charlie also thanked Sabrina Carpenter, who stars in the music video and the short film with him. He’s also going to release another version of the song with Sabrina in two weeks.
“Thank you @sabrinacarpenter for your brilliant portrayal of this character. You are so unbelievably multitalented,” Charlie said.

Amazon could soon be forced to recognize UK trade union
Amazon could soon be forced to recognize UK trade union,LONDON (Reuters) -U.S. technology and retail giant Amazon could soon be required to formally recognise the GMB trade union at its Coventry warehouse in Britain, after a government body ruled in the union's favour. GMB said in a statement on Friday that Amazon workers at the site would now vote on union recognition, and if approved, it would be the first time outside the United States that Amazon was required to bargain with a union over pay, hours and holiday. Amazon has historically opposed unionisation, but in 2022, workers at one of its New York warehouses forced the company to recognise a trade union in the U.S. for the first time.
