Ted Kravitz praised as ‘legend’ by F1 fans for delivering brutal Michael Masi question
Ted Kravitz didn't hold back when he spotted Michael Masi in the paddock for the Australian Grand Prix weekend.
The legendary Sky Sports presenter is adored by fans and didn't do his reputation any harm when he brutally delivered one question in all fans' minds after the former director of Formula One was spotted in Melbourne for this weekend's race.
Masi was in charge until he was sacked at the end of 2021 after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix where controversy took hold. He was found to have fumbledthe handling of a safety car period which then played a massive part in Verstappen winning the race and in turn the championship over Lewis Hamilton.

He was axed as race director and left the FIA before making his way back to his homeland – Australia – where he is now the chairman of the Supercars Commission. Earlier in the week, Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton admitted he had "nothing to say" to the former directors and wouldn't be speaking to him over the weekend.
Kravitz wasn't as subtle as the driver though and quickly won the hearts of most F1 fans when he was piercingly open about the situation. He said: "Michael Masi, the ex-FIA racing director has been in the paddock for the first time since that fateful day in December 2021 and he's been glad-handing, saying hello to drivers, hasn't been saying hello to Mercedes people.

"I don't really, well I do want to get into it, you know I do, but I won't. What's he doing in Australia? He's in charge of supercars, Australia Touring Cars now. What's he doing coming back to the Formula One paddock?
"There are some rumours that Formula 1 want him back because Niels Wittich needs some help on the FIA race direction side. But that's not going to happen. What's Michael Masi doing in the paddock?
Fans didn't hide their annoyance of Masi being back in the paddock. @fastpitstop wrote: "Ted Kravitz once again saying out loud what every sane person thinks. What is Masi doing in the paddock?"
@QuickStopF1 tweeted: "“What’s Michael Masi doing here?!” ASK THEM AGAIN TEDDD."
@pitstopfracas said: "Ted Kravitz asking the real questions “what is Micheal Masi doing in the paddock?” This man is goated, always starting uncomfortable conversations."
Despite the generally positive reaction to his obvious feelings towards Masi, some disagreed, although the majority did agree with Kravitz for speaking the mind of F1 fans.
