Actor Alec Baldwin turned 65 on Monday, April 3, and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, made sure to post a touching tribute for his birthday.
After Baldwin’s divorce from actress Kim Basinger in 2002, the “30 Rock” actor went on to marry Hilaria Baldwin – born Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas – in 2012. The couple welcomed their first child a year later and welcomed their seventh child, a daughter, last September.
Hilaria Baldwin Shares Her ‘Wildness’ As Alec Baldwin Celebrates His 65th Birthday
On April 3, the podcast host took to Instagram to share a photo of the whole family posing together in front of the camera. Hilaria is fussing over the newborn while Carmen, the couple’s eldest daughter, also holds a child in her lap. Alec is unshaven as he grins for the camera, with one of his sons posing behind him.
In the caption, Hilaria wrote, “A photo of our wildness, just as we are. May this year bring you peace, health, and happiness. We feel lucky to be by your side…through all of it. Happy birthday, Alec—we love you.”
Many famous friends wished Alec a happy birthday, as well as some fans. “Happy birthday! May each day this year be better than the last and here’s to many more!” one fan commented. “The LIFE in this image!!!” another follower exclaimed. “Happy Birthday Alec! Only an hour before her tribute, the “Beetlejuice” actor took to Instagram to share a single photo of him lying beside his wife. His eyes are closed but Hilaria looks misty-eyed as she looks into the camera. In the caption, the actor simply wrote, “I’m lucky…”
One fan commented, “Great place to be. Gratitude for having what you have when you get home and see your wife and kids. No matter the serious situation you are going through. When you see your family a lot of the crap melts away while you are loving them and they’re loving you back.”
“Happy Birthday. Also, we’re going to need a few more SNL sketches out of you with recent events,” another follower wrote. Although they are referring to the Donald Trump indictment, “Saturday Night Live” has already replaced “Trump” with James Austin Johnson, who joked about Trump’s indictment during last Saturday’s cold open.

Alec Says That Turning 65 ‘Isn’t So Bad’
The actor also shared his wife’s photo on his Instagram account. In the caption of this post, he wrote, “65 isn’t so bad” as fans and famous friends praised his “beautiful family.”
Although many fans also took to the comments of this post to wish him a happy birthday, one user told him to stop having kids, writing, “You have to stop having kids. My dad did this. My poor half brothers have no dad at age 40.”
Although one follower replied, “Exactly,” another fan shared, “My mom died of cancer when I was 24 and my youngest sibling was 15. Happens to everyone, no matter what age they had their kids at. Don’t shame him, life is too short.”

On Friday, the actor took to Instagram to share a photo of Hilaria lying on the floor face down, with one hand appearing to massage her temple. Three of her sons are gathered around her on the floor in what appears to be the couple’s living room.
“Eleven years ago today, I got engaged to a wonderful human being,” he wrote in the caption, joking that his wife is “under this pile somewhere.” He concluded his post, writing, “11 years, 7 kids, and an ocean of memories later, I love you, Hilaria.”
